Since June 2004, the YMCA of Greater Montreal has invested over $650,000 in capital improvements and equipment purchases, always with the goal of ensuring that Camp YMCA Kanawana remains one of the leading camps in Quebec.

Since 2005, we have worked hard to make the Kanawana experience accessible to a more diverse population, through our 9 YMCA Centers and community partners such as Toujours Ensemble, Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, the Centre communautaire de la Montérégie and the Municipality of Saint-Sauveur.

On the weekend of September 16 & 17 2006, over 130 Kanawanians from the early 1930's to present day staff, went up to Kanawana for our 3rd annual Alumni & Friends Reunion Weekend.
